Beaver Electric Hourly Labor Charges

Hourly Labor Charges as of October 2008 for New London County Area (Prices Subject to Change Without Notice)

Normal working hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Minimum Service Charge per service call $80.00
Journeyperson (E2) with service van $80.00 per hour
Apprentice $40.00 per hour

Note: For work in towns other than “New London County” a mileage charge of .30 cents per mile round trip may be applicable.

Overtime hours are Monday through Friday 3:30 pm to 6:59 am.
These rates are also applicable to scheduled work occurring on Saturday and Sunday.

Journeyperson (E2) $120.00 per hour
Apprentice $60.00 per hour

Emergency Rates

These rates are applicable when unscheduled work is called in which entails moving a work crew from a pre-scheduled job to a new location and job. This also includes non-scheduled work on Saturdays and Sundays.

Journeyperson (E2) $175.00 per hour
Apprentice $90.00 per hour

Maintenance Contracts and volume pricing is also available, please ask about if interested.

Generally the journeyperson is accompanied by one apprentice, as this aids in safety, ease of work and shortening the time the job will take; including any subsequent trips to pick up any additional materials that may not be stocked in our work vans. The rate is charged port to port, from the time we leave our office until the time we return.

Estimates are free, but diagnostic time is billed based on the hourly rate. Diagnostic time means any time spent assessing the problem and determining the solution. Along with these labor rates; materials, equipment charges (bucket truck, man lift, backhoe & ect.) and applicable sales tax will be added.

Terms of sale; service charge of 1.5% per month charged after 30 days. If it should be necessary to turn this account over for collection, the customer is responsible for all collection costs, including reasonable attorney fees.
